i am the great grandson of Thomas Langan 1853-1926 his father was Micheal Langan a water keeper abt 1822 to 1885 his mother was Margt Crean abt 1817-1898 little is known about Micheal and Margt that they live and died in Balina they had one other son that we know about his name is John abt 1848 Thomas married Catherine Dunne and moved to Liverpool where they had 4 son and a daughter have been unable to find a wedding for Micheal and Margt hoping this matches up with someone

Charles William Burke

My 2x great grandfather was a Charles William Burke, said to have been Irish. He would have been in the parish of Portland in Jamaica in the 1840s/1850s. Does anyone know of any Burkes who might have migrated to or spent time in Jamaica and other parts of the Americas in the mid- to late-19th century; perhaps returning to Ireland as I find no death record in Jamaica.

I am looking for the gravestone of Fanny / France Cordelia Hoffe who died in 1893 in Ballina Co Mayo. She was the wife of the chemist, Philip Hoffe who then subsequently moved with some of his sons to South Africa. My mother in law is Fanny and Philips great granddaughter and would like to visit her grave. All efforts to locate it have drawn a blank thus far. Thanks in advance, Kirsty

Hi, My siblings and I are looking for the family of Bernard (Bryan) Lyons and Mary (Curly/Kealy) Lyons. They had 3 children: John Bernard, Brigid Elizabeth, and Anna Maria. They immigrated to the US when Anna was an infant, possibly around 1865. Bernard went first; Mary and the children followed. We believe they came from Mayo County, Costello Barony, Caremorris Union, Annagh Parish, Culnacleha Townland, and they may have been related to the Tarpey family of Ireland/Philadelphia. Anna Maria (Annie) became our great grandmother, and we\'d appreciate finding out more about her family. Thank you.
