Have been active in theatre organs for 50 years and member of the American Theatre Organ Society for 26 years. Own and play an Allen MDS 312 three manual, 32 pedal,horseshoe console. Love the old pipe styles and will play one when available and invited. Got to keep those glorious sounds alive forever. |

I just wanted to say that all the organs are great. But to me there is nothing like the sound of a "Conn" Organ. I don't think they received the recognition & respect they deserved in the world of organs. Even though, there were a few record albums in the 70's that were recorded on "Conn" organs. I have 2 of them. 95% of them were Hammond & Wurlitzer. But, because of these websites on the internet, such as this one. We can all continue to enjoy all the great organs of the past. |
