I found your story very touching. I never thought about shopping for my "client". I made an afghan and wrapped it and put it by her bed. She has severe Alzheimer and until I started visiting her a year and a half ago she sat and looked at nothing. Now she is more aware and smiles when I come in to visit her. She is a doll and the only client who has touched my heart in such a way I can't explain why or how she means so much to me.

I have been a volunteer at a nursing home for 23 years and the home has an angel tree every year.It is wonderful the way people respond to the needs of the residents there. I have been known to take a few names myself.You can't help but want a wonderful Christmas for someone who has no one.
Thank you for what you do.Maybe it will give a few more people an idea to make an elderly persons Christmas just wonderful!!!

I came to your site and read you first story about the Rainbow Bridge and it brought tears to my eyes.
