My Daughter, who is now 23, was born with heart disease. I received an e-mail concerning the use of the drug Paxil during the first trimester of pregnancy. I read that Paxil was not on the market until 1992...my Daughter was born in 1986. I was just wondering if anyone knows of a Paxil related drug that was out during that time. I can not recall if I was on a antidepressant during that time of my pregnancy. The defects described by the ad concerning the defects caused by Paxil, describes my Daughter's heart defects to a "T".
