I wrote about a week ago about my friend who is on the freshman team with me. She has a big scar on her chest, and when we asked her about it she just said that she had heart surgery.
I wasn't very concerned, because everything must be okay if she can play sports and everything. But we on the bus and I pointed to her necklace asking her where she got it. I guess I touched about where the top of scar would be and she pushed my hand away. I asked her if it hurt and she said that she has wires in her chest that they put to hold her ribs when she had her surgery.
I really don't know what the surgery was for. But she did say that she was 10 days old when she had it. I don't know if I'm overreacting or not. I'm just worried about her.
Please help me understand what's going on.
