Trip Report 5/9/09

On Saturday 5/9/09 I spent the day fishing on Aziscohos Lake. Most of the day I trolled lures and flies. I caught 1 short Salmon (about 10"). During the afternoon I changed my strategy a little. I began flyfishing at the mouths of some of the brooks. This was beginning to pay off. I lost one fish and a short time later landed a nice Brook Trout about 14". Then the T-Storms started coming in so I called it a day.

All in all, it was a good day. There were a lot of boats on the lake and most were trolling. I look forward to fishing there a little bit more...
