The fishing on Rangeley was excellent for 21/2 weeks after ice out and has now dropped off a bit as it usually does every year. Within a week it should pick back up. Mooselook is now coming along with reports of 5lb. brook trout and 41/2lb salmon. We have had some excellent wet fly and streamer fishing on 2 or 3 rivers and now if the weather cooperates the dry fly fishing should start.
