Rangeley Lake Guide fish report

Another enjoyable week sharing great salmon and trout fishing with some very fine people. On Sunday evening I fished with Sam Bond and his daughter Amber and her friend April. We had a nice evening with a few good salmon plus one native that went 3.8 lbs and 23”. Sam was heading out the next day with some lead core to try his luck.

On Monday morning Mike McManus returned with his son Jon and his father-in-law Joe. We had a great morning with 5 salmon boated of which all were released except one that Jon kept, a nice 2.8lb salmon. A beautiful warm summer morning on Rangeley Lake with some great friends, Thanks guys.

Another morning trip with Cliff Fletcher and his daughter Lizzie produced just two fish in the boat and several strikes that just didn’t hook up. Lizzie was very pleased with the fight that she had with a 3 lb salmon that just held down deep for quite a while before coming to the net. I will put up the photos midweek so go to the photo gallery and check them out.

See you out there,

Shaun
