Azicohos Lake & Magalloway River Fishing

Summer is definitely here. Dry fly fishing is pretty much limited to creek outlets for morning and evening rises. Aziscohos Lake is fishing well with sewn baits trolled deep.

Upper Magalloway River slow. Lower river, below dam: water high,(lots of rain), nice salmon, mostly on nymphs. Hot flies: muddler minnows, bead head nymphs. Best bet: bait fishing in Aziscohos Lake in vicinity of Bosebuck: brook trout and salmon, 3+lb. Great time of year for swimming, boating, canoeing, kayaking, wildlife viewing. Two eagles on nests, lots of moose, deer and loons. Bruce's cooking alone is worth a trip to Bosebuck Camps and the peaceful, remote setting and scenery are hard to beat. Call us at 207-446-2825
