Aziscohos Lake Fishing

Fishing at Bosebuck Mtn. Camps this season started out even better than usual. Then mother nature gave us a little trouble: Snow in the middle of May!! then wind and rain!! Fortunately, there were some very productive breaks in between. The conditions were challenging, but there have been quite a few beautiful days as well. Many large Salmon (in the 3,4,& 5lb. range) have been caught. Bosebuck is famous for trophy Brook Trout and this year several Brookies over 3lb. have been caught so far. Every year some of the largest Brook Trout in the state of Maine are caught her at Bosebuck, including last year's 51/2 lb monster. Trolling in boats is available on the lakes and will be ideal when the hot weather hits and the fish head for the cool, deep spots. As always, rivers and streams are fly fishing only, and

even in the hot weather some good fishing can be had in the tail waters below the dam. But hot weather isn't here yet, and who knows when and if it will come. Whatever the weather, we hope you'll come to Bosebuck and let us take care of you for a few days.
