Please understand that at Absinthe, we do not attend \"color preference.\" You are welcomed to indicate this to us, however we will not accept a deposit from you until we would be certain that there is a \"Companion Puppy\" available. Basset Hound puppies (indeed, puppies in most breeds) thrive best with \"2-legged\" or \"4-legged\" companionship during the \"toddler\" phase (4-9 months). Should you acquire a puppy from us, will there be someone at home with the puppy during this very important developmental period? * Yes No

Our puppies are ready for their new \"Forever Families\" between 12-14 weeks. Is this within your time frame? * Yes No

Absinthe Basset Hounds does NOT sell puppies intended for breeding. All puppies are sold with a strict \"Spay/Neuter\" contract. Do you agree to adhere to this condition and to provide Veterinary proof of having completed this procedure? * Yes No

Once we have approved your application, received all references/verifications, we require a non-refundable $250.00 deposit for the puppy. Will you be prepared to do this? The price for an Absinthe Basset Hound is $3000.00 (the $250.00 deposit is deducted) We will continue to attend applications on all puppies until they have all been reserved. * Yes No

BHCA (Basset Hound Club of America) is a wonderful community of Basset Hound lovers, breeders, owners, judges, Basset Enthusiasts, and vets. Absinthe Basset Hounds is a member in good standing in this organization. It is a requirement that all our \"Forever Families\" become members of BHCA for one year at the time of acquistion. We will not place a puppy in a Forever Home without this membership. If you are approved to acquire a puppy from us, will you agree to this placement requirement? * Yes No (If \"No\" your application will not be considered)

We are aware that life can sometimes throw \"curve balls\" that unfortunately require a \"Plan B\" approach. We require by contract, that should you be unable, for any reason, to provide a continued home for this Basset Hound, that you contact us IMMEDIATELY so that we may assist you in rehoming the Absinthe Basset. Should you have no options (you may NOT resell) you are required to return the Basset Hound to us at no cost to us. Do you agree to this? * Yes No

I understand and acknowledge that, Absinthe Basset Hounds is a private hobby and is NOT a commercial enterprise business. Your completion and our approval of this application is for information purposes only, and does not create a contract or a promise to sell a puppy to the applicant between Absinthe Basset Hounds and the applicant. Absinthe Basset Hounds reserves the right to cancel or withdraw from this consideration up to 24 hours prior to physical transfer of the puppy. We continue to collect background information on our prospective puppy buyers up until that time. Should negative or concerning information be obtained regarding your particular circumstance, and we find that we cannot place a puppy in your home.
