Just watched an episode of Route 66 with Martin Milner and starring a young Roger Mobley. The episode was filmed in Corpus Christi, my hometown and where I live today. It was a pretty good story in which you played a orphan. It was particularly interesting the see Corpus Christi of 1962 as I was born a few years later.

I\'ve watched you many times over the years in various television shows (reruns) and always found you entertaining.

Would love to hear some stories about your years on the street as it is my current profession.

Roger, I too worked with Greg Heller at the Orange Sheriff Office in 1987.
We were remembering you on the facebook page \"you know you grew up around Orange,TX if...\" I remember seeing your acting in \"Jack the Giant Killer\" at The Strand Theater on Main St. (Where the Lutcher Theater is now located.) I noticed the entertainment industry has \"remade\" the movie as \"Jack the Giant Slayer.\" Doubt it will hold the same excitement for me as the one you starred in. Would consider seeing it had you been given the opportunity to star in an adult role.

Dragnet. Mr. Mobley, you played the cocky teenage punk criminal wannabes so well in Dragnet that I was surprised to learn you actually became a TX police officer in real life. I have to wonder if Jack Webb's love for police officers influenced you at all as it did for me?

I just saw you on an episode of Dragnet and had to look you up because I remembered you from Disney. I wasn't sure what show I had seen you on with Disney but I remember how handsome you are!!! I am happy that you path took you on so many paths that lead to being a pastor of a bible church. I hope that the Lord has blessed you in many ways. I would love to get copies of the shows/films that you starred in. If they are put on DVD, I will be looking for them. If you could let me know when they are, I would appreciate it. Thanks for doing shows that had a positive story to tell. . .that exemplified what Christianity is all about.

First, thank you very much for your service to our Country and your keeping up the tradition by having you son join you in the Green Berets. I got drafted in 1970 but never served in Vietnam. My favorite shows that you were in were Fury, Emil and the Detectives and the Gallegher series on The Wonderful World of Disney, particularly the Gallegher series. Is there any way that Disney will release that series on DVD so that we Baby Boomers can enjoy them with our grandchildren? If it would help to get your fans to send emails/letters to someone within Disney's distribution and marketing departments to make this happen, I'd sure be happy to be involved. Also, on a side note, I emailed James MacArthur from Disney's Swiss Family Robinson and Hawaii Five-0 fame and he was a very nice guy. He emailed me back and told me that he still kept in touch with Tommy Kirk and Kevin Corcoran. I don't know if you worked with them much when you were acting but just wondered whether you kept in touch with any of your child actor co-stars. Anyway, sounds like you had and are still having an exciting life. I'm glad to see child actors who went on to be successful and happy in their future careers.

I just bought the Disney Movie Club DVD and watched the whole movie!
I'm 59 and saw it when I was 11. It's a great print, and it ranks very high in my all time favorites. The location shooting and ensemble acting are terrific. And the musical score is exceptional. I wore the soundtrack LP out as a kid-I wish Disney would release a music only CD. Mr. Mobley, you were my childhood hero, starting with this movie and moving on to the Gallagher series. So happy to relive these moments. Grateful for the internet, DVDs, and long lives! I'm now a professional pianist (semi retired) concertizing with actor/singer Mandy Patinkin. Emil and the detectives. My brother Steve and I went to Whittier Christian with you. He was in your class and I was 2 years younger. I remember at football practice you were always beating me up; thats ok though it was fun. Looks like you had a great life.

Gallegher. We had a theater in my hometown of Vancouver, Wa (which is still there) that allowed us to request any movie. I always requested Gallegher after I first saw it. I just recently bought a video of it. I still love it. Glad to hear you are doing well and happy with your family and life itself.
