I\'m a newby to the land of Lara Croft, having only seen a couple of the films but the whole action about it makes me want to be her!!! The latest game is fab as it has far more actions than the previous game and the definition is greater. She is an inspiration as she is one of the few females that has taken the world by storm with not just her figure! As to her new look, I like it! She rocks

The game reboot is all perfect to me, in my opnion it\'s a intelligent new beguin, bringing a human Lara in all ways. She feels pain, hungry, thisty, fear, cold even bleed things that never was on Tomb Raider before. It\'s just like shows up how she\'d become so strong, brave, how she developed skills and knowledge!!! It\'s much more realistic this way, how she gets into the tombs, with fear and curiosity at the same time, because she\'s not a kind of super human this time, even her appearance looks fragile, what a begginer explorer would feel on such situation like that. I\'m still playing this new game and it\'s everytime surprising me. It\'s Lara in all ways, but she really have a younger look and I loved this
Lara Croft, Tomb Raider always mean a lot to me, I\'m a fan since my 11 years old (9 the first meet), so I growed up playing Tomb Raider and having Lara as a inspiration for the brave, intelligence, beauty and much more! The new Lara already have a special place on my heart, the game is just amazing!!!! I feel more like her now, because she really looks a human woman with all characteristics that me and the other girls (and boys xD) have. Emotions beyond everything!
The traditional and old Lara always will have a special place at my heart, being human or super human she\'ll always be my hero, my inspiration!!! The most cool woman ever!

For me the reboot succeeded in bringing Lara Croft to the 21st Century as a realistic character and with believable back story. With all the gaming systems today she needed to become more hi-definition and realistic. Being able to watch her evolve into the character we all know was just awesome. It made me appreciate the guts it took for the creators to make such big changes. If people don’t like the changes maybe they weren’t into the Tomb Raider series for the right reasons.

One thing that I like about the new character\'s appearance is that she does not \'exactly\' resemble actress Angelina Jolie, and that you can still \'sorta\' picture yourself as the character, with or without big boobs. She is easy to relate to for both new players and longtime fans. She is less of a sex symbol and more of an everyday person. Players may know who she becomes in the future, but we get to watch her struggle to become that… (Like the Electra movie, we got to see flashbacks to when she was young and vulnerable)

To Me Lara Croft is another powerful female role model. She is smart, strong, and independent; someone women and girls everywhere can look up to and at times wish we could be (at least I do). Lara Croft is also a symbol of the times, her changing character is just more proof that the gaming world is evolving.

These are my thoughts anyway, (tm01525@georgiasouthern.edu)

I am a huge fan of Lara Croft, I loved what they did in the movies with Angelina Jolie as it made Lara a more realistic character. With the new game coming out, I was so exited to see a younger version of Lara, the one thing i was most looking forward to was hoe they would portray her and what she would look like, the new costume for her is great as well as you\'re not so focused on the sex appeal of her, but more the fighter within her; it was also great to see more of her background and how she became the infamous Tomb Raider. Lara Croft meant a lot to me when i was growing up as she was a powerful women who never gave up.. I kinda wanted to be like when i grew up and i maybe still can if my chosen career pans out.

I had my doubts but it like all the other Tomb Raider games peeked my curiosity. Sure I didn\'t like what they were doing to her at first but it began to grow on me the more I found out. Then the game came out, the more I played the more I enjoyed it.

This is how it really started for me. Lara\'s timing couldn\'t be any better when she came into my life, I was getting out of 2 bad years of Jr High as grade 9 and 10 was almost like it but a little tamer. The Tomb Raider games was my stress relief and inspiration ever since as it kept growing after I seen the movies. She represented a part of me that I wished to be, that\'s part of why I cosplay as her.
