Hi! I have a pug puppy that had a femoral head fracture repaired. The IM pins the vet used have migrated. The vet said it was okay to leave them in. They have one sharp end and I assume the other end is blunt. It does not sound plausible to leave the pins in my dog when they are "floating" around in her. Is it okay to leave them in or should I get another vet to remove them? There are 3 and only 1 is palpable. Please let me know. Thank you.
