my dalmation wants to attack other dogs when we take her for walks what can I do I have just got her she is five years old and may have been misstreated

This is not an easy problem to correct, especially since it may have been going on for a very long time. Your first step is to get some obedience training. Your pet will need to know sit, stay and appropriate calm behaviour before you train her to get along with other dogs. There are many trainers out there who will do personal training. (For obvious reasons, you will want to avoid class settings.)

After your pet knows the basic commands (and knows them very well), then you will want to pursue the socialization with other dogs. Many trainers will help you in this area. It will involve a lot of work but I'm sure it will be worth it.
