Hi,
My dad, Earnest Earl, was also with Carlson's raiders.He died when I was three in 1959. I have been trying to pull together info about him to share with my children. I know he was wounded on Iwo. Could you check with your Pastor and let me know if he remembers my Dad -I know it is a long shot, but my whole family has died off and I would love to know more about him.
