Rebacking of a naughty TB

Hi there,

I have a nine year old big built 16.2 TB who I have owned for two years now. Bought him originally with someone else who was the more experienced rider then she had to back out after the purchase. He had two quite severe leg injuries in the first year so was not worked and after that when I tried to get on him he was a complete handful.

Can anyone recommend someone to reback him either at livery or coming to me here. On the ground this horse is as sweet as a nut, but on his back he is flighty at best. However I have had him back checked and vet checked and all are convinced it is a mental attitude thing not pain - ie he's just being a pain in the **** as he knows I'm not as confident as I once was!

Answers gratefully received.

Re: Rebacking of a naughty TB

Hi,
I can do this for you at a rate of £15 per day (only extras vet/farrier/worming). However I have no room at the moment, but will do in a month or 2. It would be better to start on a horse like this then, as he needs to be in constant, hard work (ie no breaks/easy days due to ice/,mud).
Many thanks,
Vici Morse.
