This was a super off-season ride along forestry tracks near Staunton. Although mainly surfaced tracks, this makes this ride do-able in most weather conditions, & surprisingly often we have stunningly good weather for the time of year. There were some fairly steep climbs & many twists & turns, making it impossible to know where you are without the map provided. There were a variety of distances available, to suit all ages & degrees of fitness, & mulled wine & mince pies provided at the end, to warm the fingers as well as the soul!
This is an event that has been running for many years, & hopefully many years to come.
