I just stumbled onto this site and thought I'd introduce myself and say hello to all of you. I'm a CSO here in Tampa, Florida, where I've worked for the Hillsborough County SO for the past 13 years. I'm happy to find a web site that CSO's can gather information and exchange ideas.
I have been attempting to gather information on a variety of issues from other CSO's for some time now but have met with negative results. The information I hope to obtain would be used by me in the future to help my agency with our CSO program. C.S.O.-Field evidence techinicians,Accident reports, Residential and Commerical Burglary, Vandalism and other cold crimes with no suspect info (488, other misd.)
Ballistic Vest, O/C, flashlight and a radio

Funny you should ask this question, I was asking for a resource that may provide pay scales for CSO's/PSA's. Have you gotten many responses? Looks like this site is not real active, but maybe I am not reading it right. I don't have the best tech skills.
