Hi folks.
I'm going to upload my bootleg Collection online.
Most files are in mp3 single files, so ineligible for youtube.
What's your thoughts on platforms for more than 30 concerts?
Mixcloud, Bandcamp, Soundcloud?? I need space
Re: My Felt Bootleg Collection Online - Any Ideas?
Two main problems:
Soundcloud only allows up to 3 hours of music.
Bancamp is a good idea, but only accept WAV and similar files format. My all collection is in mp3 format.
Re: My Felt Bootleg Collection Online - Any Ideas?
hello Rui,
I just found out about your announcement to post your felt bootlegs (I have some, and from memory, thanks to you: you sent me some CDs - that was years ago!!!).
Have you made any progress on this? I'd love to discover more bootlegs! Xavier
by the way, I'm a book editor (about music, obviously...). I've already published a bio on Mark Hollis, and others... and I have a project for a bio of Lawrence by Christophe Basterra, a French journalist who knows Lawrence well... I'll keep you informed!
Re: My Felt Bootleg Collection Online - Any Ideas?
Ça-Va Xavier? Of course I remember you and well. And your work.
As we speak, I'm uploading a Soundcloud and a Bandcamp page with Felt Bootlegs.
Next week I'll be out, but I hope I can upload a good part of them.
Bandpage is a great platform, but doesn' allowed MP3 uploads, and that's my main archive file extention. Suggestions?
I got the Felt mailing list functioning again. It seems fans were not receiveng my previous emails. And I'm trying my best to get my Tribute Site in place.
Curiously yesterday I checked the site
https://leboulon.net/felt/#
expecting for news, because the book was to be released in 2020 right?
Do you have any input on this? is it going to be a bilingual book...or published only in french?
I get along reading french, but I guess most fans don't.
Gimme a week or so Xavier. And if you have a hint were to put my archive online (besides those 2 sites), please share.
