What could be the correct answer to Lawrence's riddle?
Lad weeps so? Weasel pods?
Dope and speed are both in there but nothing coherent emerges.
Dee as L's POW - Lawrence's despotic tendencies in Felt were worse than we thought, with the errant Maurice frequently being treated as though he were a captured enemy soldier?
(Caveat: I've now found out that this is the title of the first track on the latest GKM album, which I haven't so far heard, so I'm very much working in the dark here!)
The track does not solve the puzzle by the way LOL
Thinking about anagrams, and straying off-topic a little, OutsideLeft missed a bit of a trick when titling their recent Maurice Deebank interview. Instead of How Maurice Deebank Felt, they could've just rearranged the letters of the second half of their name to produce a cuter and more pointed title: Outside Felt.
Reminds me of the time I suggested to a band I know, who wrote a Felt tribute song, that they called it 'Left.'
Another: "Sad Peel Sow".
Sadly, Peel never liked Felt
Weed as slop.
