Just having a Felt night and watching 'A Declaration' having looked at the book again earlier, in the film (filmed in 87)Lawrence has a great fringe but looking at the book he's clearly going bald by '84, in Luke Haines Bad Vibes book he mentions Lawrence's sew in fringe, so did he have a sew in fringe then? I only ask ask as hair bands and hats appear about '86

Knowing how he loves hair (Mick Bund, Phil King but not Tony race!) did he go for a cover up cos I know by 89 he looked a bit like James Bolam in the Likely Lads! (a good thing)

I only ask as I'm now 40 and thinking how can i get a sew in fringe as I miss it too, not getting a trucker hat just yet tho!
