Dear Kim,

My son had his first surgery at 15 years old and his second at 17 years old and he never had chylothorax but he had a collapsed lung after surgery which warranted another chest tube. His first surgery was as uneventful as open heart could be and he did very well, his second he struggled more and had more chest tubes because of the lung. I know how hard it is to see all of those tubes coming from your baby. Did your baby just have open heart surgery? I wish I could have been more help sorry.
