Cheri's post is right on target. Any time you have a concern about your child, you should check with your doctor. Having a parent or sibling with a congenital heart defect increases the likelihood that you could have a heart defect, too. The more severe your relative's heart defect, the more reason to have things checked out. It might be nothing, but then at least you know you've checked it out.
Best of luck, Melissa! I just sent you a personal note via email. I hope you'll let us know how things are with your twins.
Thanks for being on top of things here, Cheri. Your advice is always pertinent and appropriate.
P.S. I can't believe Nicholas is already 11! Alex turns 14 in August. Time certainly is flying. :-)
