MOMS I am looking for alternatives to a balloon release. Due to environmental issues we will not be allowed to have a balloon release at our annual crime victims retreat so I am looking for ideas that will still provide the release that a balloon release provides. I have heard of using bubbles but looking for other ideas. If you know of an alternative please post your idea. Thanks
Deb, The Compassionate Friends in Camarillo CA do a balloon release with an environmentally friendly balloon. There had been concerns before and they found a type of balloon that will not hurt the environment. I don't know what it is made of. I can tell you that they are the Camarillo CA chapter and that if you call them they will return your call if you wanted to ask them what kind of balloons they were. I will try to call them and find out too. Maybe between the two of us we can find out so that you can still use the balloons.
