I went to my first support group meeting last night and I thought it was a great new experience but it was so nice to be able to sit and talk to others who was willing to listen, talk about and share their stories, pictures and memories of their love ones and no one was acting like they don't want to hear about. If you wanted to just listen and not speak, that was fine, if you wanted to just sit and cry, and of course if you wanted to verbalize,that was fine,however you needed to express your feeling, it was your choice but everybody was there because they all had a member of their family who had been murdered so we could all relate to each other.
