need some advice on 6v6 small sided game inprove close range finnishing.

Firstly, Only work with one team and if they pick up the coaching points okay, you'll notice that the other team will also pick it up as well.

Two good ideas for improving close range finishing in a SSG are:

a) Develop the play and get the ball wide. Have the wideman deliver a variety of crosses into the penalty area (both high and low, near post and far post), between the six yard box and the penalty spot. have one striker attacking the near post and another at the far post and a third player coming in late from the edge of the box to pick up any knockdowns.

b) Use a target man to set up a second striker or a supporting midfielder in and around the penalty area.

Always start with the attacking team in possession and remember to use both sides (left and right) Good Luck !
