Valdas, the principals of Turning in a Small Sided game are the same as for the basic technique.i.e. the player who is receiving the ball should firstly take the defender away to create space, (width & depth), then make a sharp angled run towards the ball. Get in line with the ball and receive on the half turn. If defender is tight take the ball on furthest foot from defender to protect the ball. have a quick look to see if there is space behind the defender, wait for defender to commit and then turn and accelerate away on the opposite side.EASY...Just remember to make your starting points realistic, two good ones are from the full back up to a wide midfield player or from either the full back or central midfielder up to the centre forward.. Also remember to use both sides left and right...Good Luck!!
