Rangeley Streams / Rivers or Lakes in October

Looking for advice on what bodies of water to fish in mid-October for extended season fishing. Hoping for larger Brookies or landlocked salmon in streams. Thanks!

Upper Dam is a good bet for October. So. Branch of the Dead River open, as well as The Rangeley River and about 25 ponds. Have fun.
