The rains came the end of August and so did the fish. The rivers had an excellent run of fish the end of August with some 3 to 31/2 pound trout being caught along with a few salmon in the 20 to 22" length. The Brookies were all colored up the males showing full spawning colors. As of today 9/14/06 more fish have come in but as normal they are not as receptive to the fly as they were earlier in the month. Another good rain should bring more fish.
