Trolling on Rangeley

Hi there...

We're headed up to Rangeley on Saturday, July 29th. We love to troll, but use Mooselook Wobblers as dad never showed me how to "sew bait" on a hook.

Any suggestions? Copper or silver? How deep are they running? Any other lure we could use?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Jan

Re: Trolling on Rangeley

Jan,
I like both copper and silver on a 44 sutton spoon.
Wobblers are a great lure as well. I would run 30-40 foot depth as that has been most active, of course the time of day and the weather conditions will be a factor also. Check in with Sam and Jeff at the Rangeley Region Sport Shop if you need tackle and if you want some help with running bait give me a call. Good luck and I will see you out there.
