Saturday,6/24/06 was a great day for 11 year old Patrick. I took him and his dad Andy to a remote trout pond where I knew Pat would catch some trout.He learned very well and when we left at 1p.m. he had caught "51" native brook trout and his dad caught over 75. Pat learned the basics of fly casting,how to hook a fish when it stricks,how to play the fish and also how to release the fish unharmed. All 3 of us had a great day,
we left the pond smiling. These are not large trout,they are from 5" to 11" but all taken on a dry fly and very agressive. A great pond to learn to fly fish and have a lot of fun. Tight lines,Ray
