weekly report

The fishing this week has been really great once the wind stopped blowing. Fly fishing on the ponds has been good with some nice trout being caughtup to 15".Last Sunday we guided Mike and Linda, Ron and Terry on the Lake. Two nice salmon were caught before we were blown off the lake with high winds. Monday guides Eric and his friend fly fishing on two rivers producing quite a few brook trout, fast fishing, no trophy fish, but lots of action. Made for a great day for them. On Friday morning I finished up my trip with Mike and Linda, Ron and Terry back on the Lake and in two hours we boated 5 salmon, all over 4 lbs. All were released unharmed. It's nice to have clients who are true fisherman, they catch and release, a practice that should be followed by more of those people who fish our waters.
The rivers should start producing some big fish shortly as Sept. is now upon us.
Tight lines, Ray
