fishing report

Everything is holding up well for this time of year. Certainly it's light years and quantum leaps from the last couple of dry years. There continues to be Drake/Hex hatches in areas like Kennebago Lake and Little Jim Pond. Caddis hatches are also abundant on the Magalloway And Rapid Rivers(running Kayak flowws this weekend again). In spite of the walk of a mile it's good fishing at Upper Dam where flows have been at a solid 700cfs+ for a while. Looks like an excellent August is in the works, so come on up

Re: fishing report

Denis and I are going to be in Rangeley on the 9th for the weekend. We are going to replace the running boards on the bridge across the ponds but that is Saturday so we may be in touch to find out the flows for upper dam for Friday as we will probably come up Thursday eve. Is it hurricane season yet? See you all in a week. Marsha
