Rangeley Lakes Fishing Report

It was like old times fishing with Bill Griffin and son Sean, the difference being Sean was 10 years old. Now,22 years later Sean reminded me that we caught many fish, the largest being over 7 lbs., he even had the picture to prove it, all framed and well kept. It brought back many memories. It also brought the realization that we are all getting older and should enjoy ourselves while we can. LET'S GO FISHING. WE had a nice day on the water catching 6 fish. the largest caught by Bill pushing 4 1/2 lbs. Picture will appear in photo gallery. Ponds still producing some nice trout as are the rivers. Some really nice salmon from the Rangeley river on nymphs and wolly buggers. Kennebago lake and Little Kennebago giving up many brookies in the early a.m. and evening.
