hot spots?

Hi, I'm visiting Rangeley Lake next weekend, July 13/14 and was wondering about any hot spots for brookies. Don't really care about trophies, just wanna catch some quality fish. Also, I only have light spinning tackle and live bait. Any suggestions where to go to get at those fish from a canoe or from shore?
