April saw a 7 pound 1 ounce male Salmon, and we also weighed a 6 pound female, both out of Rangeley. Starting 5/19/02 we weighed a nice 4 pound 1 ounce Brook Trout, and on 5/23/02 a 3 pound 8 ounce Broook Trout, both out of Mooselook. There have been nice fat 4 and 5 pound Salmon caught out of Rangeley so far this month. The streams are slow due to high water and cold weather. It is nice now and the fishing and hatches should pick up.
