Fishing in mid August

I will be at Saddleback for 4-5 days around the 13th of August. Any suggestions as to where I might find some fish?

Will be staying at a condo on the mountain for a wedding that weekend. No preference as to where I fish but no 4WD vehicle. I have spinning gear and figured I would at least walk over to Rock Pond and Midway Pond and cast from the shore. Would need a guide and equipment to fly fish. Happy to do that if there are fish to be had.

How long will you be staying in the area? If we get some rain in that part of August the fly fishing can be very good. I am booked on the 13 and 14 of August but open on Monday,wednesday, Thurs. if interested.
