Exchange of any ideas regarding the Cang Jie input method and other input methods for Chinese characters as well as the works and projects of Henry Chu BangFu, the inventor of the Cang Jie System.
Hi,we heard about the new Cangjie Version 6 and understand that it will be launched very soon,could you tell us whether this information is true? Or by when it will be launched? We also appreciate it very much if you could advise us,if for a newcomer of Cangjie who wants to learnt the CJ input,whether it is better to wait until the new CJ 6 finalized ? Thank you very much for your help.
I though I already answer your question by private emailbut if not, sorry, and here is the late answer:
-no we don't know when exactly will cj version 6 come out.
-Yes, you don't need at all to wait for this new version: the principles of CJ do not change; only the number of secondary sign is increased so as to cover more chracters while keeping the rule that each character has its own code (address).
CJ 6 will be for users of a system that will deal with 100000 characters.
With the present CJ version 3 you can handle all the chrs in most systems.
