Exchange of any ideas regarding the Cang Jie input method and other input methods for Chinese characters as well as the works and projects of Henry Chu BangFu, the inventor of the Cang Jie System.
Thank you for keeping conctact and sorry not to anwer faster: I always hope other users of the web will get involved in the discussion! Anyway, here is the answer: yes, the method was named in honor of this legendary sage Cang Jie that lived 2700B.C. I think he is credited for the design of the first pictograms, rather than their classification.
Wish some historian will contradict me!

Hi Eddy! Glad to see that your site lives and develops.
I've read some materials on Chinese history and now I'm curious - Cang Jie was the name of an official that first in Chinese history gathered and grouped characters; but there were no characters in my book, and I want to ask you - was this method named in the honour of this official?
