I dropped my iPhone in the back of a Taxi Parisien late on Tuesday 12th March amid the chaos resulting from an unusual heavy snowfall. I prayed, but in my heart of hearts didn't believe, I would get it back. A huge thankyou to the driver who had not only gone out of his way to pick me up, but was friendly and helpful, tolerating my poor French, and determined to do the right thing. Instead of taking the easy path, he took the time to work out who might be the owner, contacted the hotel knowing that I would already have left to return home, and left his details so I could arrange for the phone to be shipped to me right away. In decades of travelling, it's nice to be reminded that there are good people out there who care about customer service.
