I've been wanting a tattoo for years and I finally did it 2 days ago. I got it on my lower back and it covers from one side to the other. The question I have is: the tattoo itself looks great but all around it is red with a rash. Could it be the ointment I'm using or am I having a proble with the ink? The guy who done it said he thinks it's the ointment but I had a motorcycle accident 2 wks ago and used the same stuff on my road rash and it didn't do anything like that. It is itching so bad I can't stand it. Is there anything I can do to get it to stop itching. I am not about to scratch it and mess it up...hurt too bad and I paid alot of money for it.
Any advise will greatly help.
