Call for an evaluator for a qualitative baseline

CAMFED seeks the services of a consulting team to undertake an independent qualitative baseline at the start of its two and a half year 'Empowering young women to prevent the early marriage of vulnerable girls in rural Zambia' project, supported by a grant of £1,322,268 from the UK Government’s Department for International Development. The project is designed to enable 16,738 marginalised girls in rural areas of Zambia who are at high risk of early marriage to continue their education at their local secondary schools. They will benefit from the mentoring support of a network of young women school graduates who will join with local government and community authorities to uphold girls’ rights and ensure they have the necessary support to attend school and succeed.

The qualitative baseline will be carried out in early February 2019 and will include approximately one week of fieldwork in Zambia.
