BRACED Programme Extension Final Evaluation - Realist Evaluation

Dear all

The Building Resilience and Adaptation to Climate Extremes and Disasters (BRACED) programme (www.braced.org) was a 3-year, £110 million programme funded by the UK’s DFID. It is one of the largest and most ambitious global initiatives to strengthen resilience at scale, from local to national level, aiming to improve the ability of 5 million people to withstand the impacts of climate change, extremes and disasters. The programme launched in January 2015 and supported 15 projects led by BRACED Implementing Partners in consortia working in 13 countries. Nine of the projects have been extended for a further period of implementation and/or policy work until March 2019.

Between October 2018 and May 2019, BRACED Extension Implementing Partners will be undertaking project-level Extension Final Evaluations. These Final Evaluations should answer a common set of evaluation questions, using a Realist Evaluation approach, and will form the basis of a programme-level evaluation synthesis for the BRACED Extension.

On behalf of the BRACED Knowledge Manager, we are sharing calls for consultants to undertake project-level Final Evaluations. The following call is now open, and others will be shared as they come online.

All enquiries should be directed to the key Implementing Partner contact listed below.
