Consultancy Opportunity with Marie Stopes International

Consultancy: Project and data management and analysis of MSI’s annual Client Exit Interviews (CEIs)

MSI and the Client Exit Interviews: Marie Stopes International (MSI) is a global organisation providing personalised contraception and safe abortion services to women and girls. Our local teams of professionals are passionate about the work they do in communities across 37 countries. The services we provide give a woman the power to choose when she has children so that she’s free to pursue her plans and dreams for herself and her family. MSI has been conducting partnership wide exit interviews with our clients since 2011, and as of 2017 we have interviewed over 100,000 clients. The CEIs are an annual cross-sectional survey administered to a representative sample of clients as they exit an MSI facility/location. The survey protocol is standardised, implementation is managed locally in country programmes and analysis is centralised.

The Consultancy: MSI is seeking a group of consultants or companies to remote project manage the implementation and analysis of MSI’s annual Client Exit Interviews (CEIs) between October 2018 and March 2019. This will include: providing proactive support to 26 country programme RME (research, monitoring and evaluation) teams during survey implementation; centralised data management, data cleaning and the standardisation of 26 SPSS data sets as well as a global data set (in STATA); compilation of results at the country and global levels.

Submission of proposals: The consultancy would be suited to a group of consultants or companies, as it is likely to require more than one person’s level of effort at peak times. Interested parties should submit the following documents:
- Short proposal (of no more than 2 pages) addressing the above terms of reference;
- Proposed budget: a comprehensive budget including all costs and fees in GBP, annualised across 3 years (please provide budget details by deliverable/ output and not in terms of LoE or staff time/ days);
- Capability statement: relevant experience to the assignment, examples of previous work, contacts of organizations previously worked for and curriculum vitae of key personnel.

Marie Stopes will evaluate the proposals and award the assignment based on technical and financial feasibility and reserves the right to accept or reject any proposal received without giving reasons. The deadline for submission is Wednesday 5th September 2018 at 11pm GMT. The first payment is planned to be made by end of September 2018.

Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis and the consultancy may be awarded before the due date. Early submission is encouraged.
