Consultancy to conduct a Baseline

World Vision is looking for a consultant to lead a baseline study for its ‘Bio-fortified Value Chains for Improved Maternal and Child Nutrition(B4MCN) in Burundi’ project. This is a five-year project aimed at improving food and nutrition security for children under five in six communes of Muyinga, Kirundo and Karusi provinces in north-eastern Burundi reaching over 8,000 households. Key project interventions include: increasing production of high value crops and improved market linkages leading to increased economic capacities of the target households; changing nutrition related practices of the target households; and special interventions to improve the economic capacities of the ultra-poor. Baseline Terms of Reference are attached.

You would be required to submit a technical and financial proposal which responds to the baseline Terms of Reference along with an example of relevant past work. The assignment commence immediately after the selection of the consultant and 15 June is the deadline for the submission of the final report.
