Monitoring and Evaluation Training Specialist
This position is for a Monitoring and Evaluation Training Specialist to support monitoring activities in the field as requested by the Department of State. Preferably, the M&E Training Specialist should be located in the country in which the monitoring activities are taking place; preferably in a central location; however, if the Field Monitors are able to safely travel outside the country, the M&E Training Specialist can be located in a neighboring country. The Training Specialist will be primarily responsible for building the capacity of the Monitoring Specialists.

Requirements and Responsibilities:
• Develops training curriculum in consultation with the Field Manager
• In collaboration with the Senior Technical Manager and the Field Manager, ensure all M&E staff (primarily the Monitoring Specialists) are trained and knowledgeable about client-guided M&E approaches and methodologies
• Establish training development plans to cover gaps in training in support of monitoring specialists in the field
• Create and maintain a training tracker for all training conducted within the fiscal year
• Report the Field Manager of any training issues as required

Qualifications:
• Demonstrated educational experience of at least a Bachelor's Degree in relevant field of study (Public Policy/Administration, Social Sciences, Economics, Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E), etc.)
• At least 3 years of previous experience in similar role, or combination of prior training development and implementation experience and M&E work; solid grasp of the principles of results-oriented monitoring and evaluation required
• Demonstrated skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with a variety of stakeholders of different back- grounds
• Demonstrated knowledge of, and ability to effectively communicate key principles, concepts, terms related to M&E
• Demonstrated interpersonal skills and cultural awareness and sensitivity required to interact with a broad range of stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to work both independently and with a team-oriented environment
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritize deliverables in a timely manner to meet quick turn-around
• Fluent in Arabic; English speaking and writing ability a bonus
