The Elton John AIDS Foundation in the UK funds innovative frontline programmes in 12 countries across 4 continents, addressing the hardship of those living with, affected by or at high risk of HIV/AIDS
EJAF are now seeking an Anaylst to expand and refine their understanding and measurement of funded programmes and investment opportunities, aligning monitoring systems into clear frameworks that allow effective programme managment and reporting. Ensuring data collected is of good quality, you will analyse programmatic approaches and performance and assess value, leverage and overall impact of investments.
The successful candidate will have a blend of both private sector and NGO experience and will ideally have experience of analysing and recommending complex investment opportunities in the business or financial services sector. You have experience of completing due diligence, strong financial literacy and the ability to interpret, understand and clearly present statistical data in a positive but highly analytical way. You have good business acumen, a curious and proactive approach to your work and the ability to think critically and innovatively about the work of the organisation.
You must also have excellent interpersonal skills, be IT literate and demonstrate your ability to work in an entrepreneurial and self sufficient way within a small but dynamic organisation.
