Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Specialist
The incumbent will lead project efforts to monitor and evaluate the progress and impact of activities. He/she will be responsible for activities related to the development and implementation of MARKETS II overall M&E system, including the Performance Management Plan, and providing timely and relevant information to project stakeholders. He/she will engage in reporting systems for the Agency Feed the Future Initiative and the Mission Strategic Plan as they are developed, and work to ensure that program results are fed into Agency and Mission reporting systems.
Education requirements: Master’s degree in evaluation, social sciences, or related field is required.
Experience requirements: At least 10 years of professional work experience in M&E with emphasis on developing and, implementing, and managing M&E systems for large-scale development projects. At least 5 years professional work experience in M&E systems for rural/agriculture development.
Specialized/Knowledge Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Incumbent should have demonstrated advanced ICT skills. Experience with gender mainstreaming in agriculture projects.
