The World Cup
OK! Who do you reckon is gonna win, having seen at least some of the teams play their first match now? i'm really not a football addict usually, but the whole study leave thing is just so convenient to watch all the matches, i've watched 3 just today! Can i just add how shocking england were... Sorry.i just felt the need to discuss, so my head doesn't overload with football facts instead of the subjects im supposed to be learning about...also the forum was looking a little lonely and uninspired so i thought id add a new topic!

Well I coudlnt believe the kick David Beckham made. I mean he hit the Paraguay's players head, and went in! Own goal in the first three minutes! Why go from Paraguay to Germany for that?! I'm not really a football addict either so dont worry about. ^_^ |

im a lover of football and personally i think brazil will win england could but their manager svewn is pants and has the worst tactics out there but germany may win or italy |

Last night's performance was slightly better, i'll give you that, but i still don't think they have what it takes to win! i felt kinda sorry for Lampard, missing sooo many shots, he deserved a goal really... I think i'm gonna be backing Spain, having seen all the groups play now, they were absolutely fantastic in their first match! I don't think Brazil are doing so well this year, they need some new blood i feel, they're all fab players, but have already won it, and so don't have the same motivation anymore. I know, it's a hard life winning all the time! |

Well at least the English team finally scored a goal in the world cup. We got through our first match without one goal, yet we still won. |
